Mr. Poltorack commenced the practice of law in 1978. Over his years of practice, he has handled a wide variety of civil litigation in both the trial and appellate courts. These areas include commercial litigation, real estate litigation, contract litigation, insurance litigation and personal injury litigation. In February of 2007, Mr. Poltorack celebrated the twenty-fifth anniversary of the commencement of his own law firm.
Mr. Poltorack graduated cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law. As a member of the University of Miami Law Review, he had two articles published in the Law Review before graduating law school in 1978. Mr. Poltorack was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1978. He has also been admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the United States Circuit Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit.
Mr. Poltorack firmly believes that good client communication is the key to establishing a successful lawyer-client relationship. That is why he remains accessible to his clients. Telephone calls are gladly received when he is not otherwise engaged and promptly returned when he is not immediately available.
Mr. Poltorack is extremely dedicated to achieving top-flight results for his clients and prides himself in taking a very thorough approach to the preparation of his cases. He is also dedicated to the proposition that representation should not be accepted unless he believes in good faith that his client will be in a better position at the end of the representation than at the commencement of representation.
